Giant-Flowering Marshmallows or Hibiscus A wonderfully improved form of our greatly admired native Marshmallow or Rosemallow, in which not only the colors have been greatly intensified, but in which flowers of enormous size, frequently 10 to 12 inches in diameter, have been de- veloped. These plants can be highly recommended for all kinds of plantings. They appear to be equally at home in all positions, having the same vigor in dry and wet ground, and are perfectly hardy. They grow from 5 to 8 feet high, and are very floriferous, blooming from early in July until late in September.
