Awarded Nvmph^a Devoniensis. Certificate of Merit, Newport, R. I., Horticultural Society, and hon orable mention by the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, at Bos ton, 1905, each. Dentata Superba. A most decided improvement over N. den tata. Flowers pure white, 10 to 14 inches in diameter, open- ing out very flat; sepals arid petals extra broad; leaves dark green, under side blotched with purplish-brown ; vigorous and free-flowering. Awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, at Boston, 1901. $ each. Devoniensis. This variety was the first hybrid of note ; leaves 18 inches across, of dark bronzv green ; under surfnce greenish-brown; flowers pure red, 6 to 30 inches in diameter; a universal favorite. 75 cts. each; $ per doz. Night=blooming Tender Nymphaeas. This class is especially desirable for cutting, opening as they do soon after sunset and remaining open until near noon of the following day. The flowers open and close 3 or 4 days in succession, as do the Hardy Nymphaeas. Included in the list below are three fine new sorts, viz : Bissetii, Dentata Magnifica and Dentata Superba, all of which are splendid additions and worthy a place in all collections. Bissetii.
