A worker is sorting earthen lamp in the pottery village named Chaltaberia, around 40km outskirts of Kolkata in West Bengal. The entire village is in full rhythm of earthen lamp and idol production ahead of the Diwali festival in India. Earthen lamps sold in all over Indian cities like Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Gujarat, Assam, Patna, and Rajasthan, especially during festival season. Even earthen lamps are being exported to outside of India ahead of Diwali celebrations.
