Peruvian craftsman engraving a gourd (Cucurbita sp) in Andahuaylillas (Cuzco - Peru). Gourds were probably one of the first plants cultivated by man and were also used in both practical (kitchen utensils) as well as decorative (artefacts) purposes. Artisan péruvien gravant une coloquinte (Cucurbita sp) à Andahuaylillas ( Cuzco - Pérou). La coloquinte fut probablement l'une des premières plantes cultivée par l'homme et fut aussi utilisée à la fois dans un but utilitaire (ustensiles de cuisine) et decoratif.
