Following an outbreak of bird flu at the charity Swan Lifeline at Cuckoo Weir in Eton, Windsor with great sadness all 26 of the birds that the charity were caring for have had to be put to sleep. Two other swans have been found dead on the River Thames in Windsor by charity Swan Support who are urging people to report any other deaths of swans so that the bodies of them can be removed from the River Thames. They are advising that people should still continue to feed the swans
