In acquiring this information Ihave never yet failed to encounterany number of interesting factswhich have given me a double in-terest in the goods. It has never mattered to mewhether any of my prospectivecustomers asked me for this infor-mation or not, because I was readyfor them if they did, and I am hav-ing a lot of fun in just knowing itfor myself. I have sold a good many differ-ent things and have found them allinteresting when I came to tracetheir manufacture, the varioussources of supply, and their his-tory. Take the most commonplacething you can think of—glue, forinstance. I have never sold gluebut Ill gamble that I could get alot of fun out of it.
