Members of the Critical Public Facilities (CPF) Team are in Florida to execute the FEMA CPF mission. On their first day in Florida, the team focused on quick preliminary assessments of mainly fire stations in impacted communities. Here Jason Doktor and James Scungio assess damage at the fire station in Springfield. “It’s good to be out assessing these facilities in the field, and to show folks that there are people here helping,’ said Scungio. “To give people hope and make sure people know they’re not abandoned.”
