A percussion pistol, John Manton & Son, London, circa 1830 Smooth octagonal barrel in 12 mm calibre with patent breechblock and barrel rib on the underside. Florally engraved percussion lock with cock safety and single set trigger. Signed on the lock plate "JNO MANTON & SON PATENT". Walnut stock with horn nose and engraved iron furniture. Original wooden ramrod with brass tip. The iron furniture slightly patinated and pitted. Length 39 cm.
