The Fashion Show Shopping Mall opened in 1981 and encloses over 250 stores, kiosks and top end restaurants in an area of 175,415 square metres. Fashion shows are held on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. 'The Cloud' at the Strip entrance (seen here) is 150 m (418 ft) long and rises some 39 m (128 ft) above the sidewalk. It provides the Strip entrance with shade during the day.
