PACIFIC OCEAN (Jan. 19, 2017) Logistics Specialist 3rd Class Bailiang Chen fires an M240B machine gun off the port bridge wing during a crew-served weapons exercise aboard Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Champlain (CG 57). Lake Champlain is on a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment with the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group as part of the Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend the command and control functions of the 3rd Fleet in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
