Woman with demon mask among the clouds. A female demon, disguised as a clean lady, holds a demon mask on a rainy night. The woman is played by actor Segawa Kikunojô v (1802-32) in the Kabuki Play Modoribashi. This piece is based on the Nôh play 'Rashômon', in which a man, Watanabe No Tsuna, meets a woman at the Ichijô Modori bridge. He recognizes the woman like Demoon and when she tries to kidnet him, he cuts her arm, after which she fly away. This is the upper sheet of a vertical dipper. With one poem.
