St Martin's church, Basel, Switzerland

St Martin’s Church (Martinskirche) is a late Gothic church dating from about 1100, but only the lower stories of the tower and the chancel survived the 1326 earthquake. The church was rebuilt in 1398 and became protestant in 1529 during the Reformation. It is renowned for its excellent acoustics.
