Orthodox and Ultra Orthodox Jewish men wearing yarmulkas or hats, they gather at the Western Wall or Wailing Wall, remnant of the ancient wall of the Temple Mount built by King Herod the Great two thousand years ago, it is Tisha B'av, the day both the 1st and 2nd Jewish Temples were destroyed. Some of the men are barefooted others wear rubber shoes, most sit down on low bunks or on the ground, others lie down while they read from the Book of Lamentations or pray.
