BUILDINGS The power house occupies a well-chosen site on the outskirts of Hancock,about 11 miles from the southern end ofthe road. The lot has a frontage of 300 Portage Lake and a depth of 400 building is 85 ft. x 95 ft. 8 ins., and issubstantially built of brick with a six-plytar and gravel roof. The roof trusses are ten in num-ber, those in the engine room having a span of 50 against a total load for wind and snow of 50 lbs. persquare foot of horizontal covered area, exclusive of the roofitself.
