Host carried in procession, from 'Omne Bonum' manuscript, 'OMNE BONVM', a voluminous encyclopaedia of canon law, theology and general information, compiled in the middle of the 14th century by Jacobus, an Englishman, who refuses to declare his cognomen. He was possibly a Cistercian (art. abbas) and certainly a vehement an- tagonist of the mendicant orders.
