Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling held a spring base-wide cleanup April 21, 2017 to beautify the base in support of Earth Day. Service members, residents, civilian workers, and base mission partners were encouraged to spend two hours of their day outside and picking up trash. JBAB Public Works supplied the trash bags and hauled about the debris. Afterward, volunteers were treated to a picnic provided by JBAB Warfighter and Family Readiness.
