Lovers Padlocks attached at Čertovka, Devils Channel, Prague, Czech Republic

Lovers attach padlocks to railings as in many other European cities. Čertovka (Devil's Channel), also synonymed Little Prague Venice in English, is a water channel in Prague, Czech Republic. It is situated in Lesser Quarter, Prague 1. Čertovka channel takes water from river Vltava and after almost 900 m it onflows to Vltava River again. There are situated two mediaeval mills on the channel. The channel was build probably in the 12th century by the Order of the Knights of Malta,[1] who added a portion of land to the right and created an island called Kampa. Source: Wikipedia
