Pilomatricoma (also known as Malherbe calcifying epithelioma, Malherbe's tumour, or pilomatrixoma) is a cutaneous condition characterised by a benign (non-cancerous) tumour derived from the hair matrix. They are relatively uncommon and typically occur on the scalp, face and upper extremities.
