Cockpit of Shorts Sandringham 6, 1950
This aircraft was originally built by Short Brothers at Rochester as a standard Sunderland Mk III general reconnaissance flying boat. The Short Sandringham was one of the the first commercial airplane in DNL Norway, founded in 1933. This aircraft was named "Bamse Brakar" with LN-IAU. Crashed back into the sea shortly after takeoff in May, 15th 1950. The Sandringham flying boat sank one hour later. More info:
