Mean-time the left central, which leaned somewhat toward the right cuspid,was properly straightened and trimmed. The very great loss of pro-cess and bone is shown in Fig. 2. The impression for the cast fromwhich the illustration has been made was obtained by the followingmethod : A lump of stiff-mixed plaster was held by the ringers againstthe central and cuspid on their lingual faces, and modeled into a wall Fig. 1. Fig. between them on a line with the vertical middle of each tooth. Whenhard, the piece was removed, trimmed, and varnished with shellac. Itwas then replaced and held in position while a mass of stiff-mixedplaster was pressed against the plaster wall between- the teeth and overtheir labial surfaces.
