121210-N-BJ178-322 FOXBORO, Mass. (Dec. 10, 2012) Cmdr. Matt Bonner, commanding officer of USS Constitution, orders Massachusetts minutemen to fire their muskets after a touchdown by the New England Patriots during a Monday Night Football game against the Houston Texans. Constitution is the world's oldest commissioned warship afloat. She defended sea lanes against threat from 1797 to 1855, much like the mission of today's Navy.
