Star Wars is an American epic space opera franchise, centered on a film series created by George Lucas. It depicts the adventures of various characters "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away". The Star Wars Stamp Collection, designed by British artist Malcolm Tween, celebrate the British expertise behind the Star Wars films as each episode was made with a largely British cast and crew. The new film Star Wars: The Force Awakens was predominately shot at Pinewood Studios, Buckinghamshire. A Jedi Master of great skill and bravery, Obi-Wan Kenobi trained Anakin Skywalker and was one of the few to escape Anakin’s purge of the Jedi Order. He initiated Luke Skywalker into the ways of the Force.
