Lokvica (SLO) . In the caverns of the 'Dolina Oneglia', the Italian 4th Division (Brigate Acqui and Novara) had their headquarters. The inscription says “Novara the strong prepared the dolina and the cavern anew for the auspicious day in July 1917”. It recalls the defensive works that the Brigata Novara built in the doline, before the eleventh battle of the Isonzo, fought in August 1917. The cavern opens in a large Karst doline, which lies to the west of the track from Segeti to Kostanjevica.
