Clarke, Esq. The new storewas built and tirst tloor occupied in 1895. Busi-ness at once increased and he was obliged to occupythe whole building, upstairs and down. WhenMr. Godfrey put in a $2,500 stock of bicycles,people shook their heads, and doubted; but the management diove ahead, and now does a large and profitable business inthat line. Mr. Godfrey is a wide-awake business man, and in addiiioa hasmany social qualities. The repair of watches and engraving necessitates attimes the employing of two assistant^.
