(July 18, 2022) Sailors, attached to Amphibious Construction Battalion 1 (ACB 1), conjoin Improved Navy Lighterage System (INLS) craft with mooring lines while underway for floating causeway training operations in waters near Naval Base Coronado, July 18, 2022. Floating causeway is the combined utilization of INLS craft to create a temporary floating pier to provide logistical support to an area of operations. ACB 1 conducts ship-to-shore transportation and construction support as a part of joint amphibious operations around the world.
