Les Agudes is a 1,705 meter mountain that is part of the Montseny Massif. It is horse of the municipalities of Arbúcies in the region of La Selva and Fogars de Montclús and Montseny in the region of Vallés Oriental. The Montseny and Sant Llorenç de Munt i l'Obac natural parks are the closest and most frequented natural parks in the Barcelona metropolitan area. Located about 50 km north of Barcelona. Montseny was declared a natural park in 1978 and later by UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1987. Its name comes from the Latin Mont Signis (signal mountain) given by the Romans on their approach to the peninsula by sea.
