The service for Air Force Maj. Troy “Trojan” Gilbert takes place in the Memorial Chapel on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Dec. 19, 2016, in Arlington, Va. Following the chapel service, his remains were buried in Section 60 of Arlington National Cemetery. Gilbert’s F-16 crashed on Nov. 27, 2006. Following the accident, forces recovered DNA which provided enough information to positively identify Gilbert.
