A car arrives at the Club Class facilities at the Eurotunnel UK Terminal which allows for priority boarding on the next shuttle.
Eurotunnel's Club Class passengers pay a premium. On arrival at the UK or French Terminals, they have a dedicated check-in lane and can automatically board the next available shuttle train. They can go directly from check-in to departure using a private road or make free use of a private club lounge. Eurotunnel is the market leader for cross-Channel travel and, in 2008, transported million passengers (on Eurostar), million cars, million trucks, 70,000 coaches and million tonnes of freight annually. Eurotunnel is the market leader for pet travel, with over 34,000 dogs and cats having crossed the Channel, since Eurotunnel began its Pet Travel Scheme in 2000.
