KABUL, Afghanistan -- A Afghan National Army soldier stands overlooking the valley on the outskirts of the city of Kabul as a soviet HIND MI35 attack helicopter patrols the area in preparation for live fire exercises. Live fire exercises are performed weekly in order to train both the helicopter crews as well as students on the ground who communicate ground targets to the helicopters.
