The fall of 1819 was asickly one, and we find medicines and hospital stores sentPeters and Stebbins, of Mobile, for the attending had then just come into possession of the UnitedStates, and hospital stores for that point were also forwardedthrough Captain Foulk. After the conclusion of the treaty by which Florida waspurchased from Spain, the company of artillery at Mobile was,on March 21, 1821, directed to occupy Pensacola, and themilitary stores were also removed there. ^ 3 C/.
