A cavalry sabre for enlisted men, a 1900 prototype Single-edged blade with fullers, and the year "1900", the maker's mark "Zlatoust", and proof marks on the ricasso. Hilt and grip pieces are of sheet steel, with a ribbed wooden grip. Length 102 cm. Aluminium scabbard, riveted drag, suspension ring broken off. Blade is in good condition, hilt pieces show some light rust. This weapon is an extremely rare experimental model, described in A.
