Mehringdamm U-Bahn Underground railway station entrance in Kreuzberg, Berlin. The station serves the U6 & U7 lines. The station opened in 1924 as Belle-Alliance Straße. The architect was Grenander and it was later renovated by Rümmler. In 1946 the station was renamed Franz-Mehring-Straße and in 1947 the name was changed to Mehringdamm
