Ghanaian Police officers meet with senior officials of the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) led by Simon Mulongo, the Deputy Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (DSRCC) for Somalia. This was in Mogadishu, Somalia on 17 January 2019. Ghana is set to deploy a contingent of 160 Formed Police personnel to serve under AMISOM. The police officers visited Somalia on an assessment ahead of the deployment.
