Smith, assistant commandant of the Marine Corps, speaks with Marines from various infantry units across the Marine Corps who were allotted the opportunity to tour the Pentagon after previously winning the Super Squad competition, in Arlington, Virginia, Aug. 11, 2022. The Super Squad competition tested marksmanship and tactical proficiency during a series of drills to include live-fire evaluation during day and night attacks, employment of weapon systems, ambushes and defense, land navigation and patrolling.
