London, UK. 7 September 2013. ​ ​The far right group EDL held a march into East London which was only allowed between 12:00-15:00 and within a specified route which kept them out of Tower Hamlets Borough. The march was described by local Mp as one that would "whip up racial tension" against Muslims. The EDL were lead by their leader Tommy Robinson aka Stephen Yaxley-Lennon who lead them on a 30 minute protest rally at Mansell Street. The EDL were allowed to protest as long as they kept within a scheduled route along Queen Elizabeth Street , Tower Bridge Road, Tower Bridge Approach, The Minor
