Pyramids of an ancient civilization of Mexico. Tzintzuntzan, Michoacan, Mexico.

Ihuatzio is a town in Michoacán located 10 km from Pátzcuaro and founded by the Purépechas. There is an archaeological zone of great importance, used as an observatory until the arrival of the conquistadors. Although it is small, due to the lack of economic resources, archaeologists have only been able to rescue 10% of the area; its wall and pyramids dedicated to Curicaueri and Xaratanga stand out.
