A shop displays a doll dressed as a penitent in the village of Bossost during the Holy week. The town of Bossost, located in the north of the Pyrenees mountains at the administrative entity of Val d'Aran, is a small village of 1000 inhabitants that since 1879 carries out the procession of Good Friday during the holy week. It is the only village in the area that has maintained this tradition and during this day the majority of its inhabitants dress as penitents to take to the streets in procession of Christian roots.
