Aspe peak is a prominent mountain in the western Pyrenees of Huesca. The peak towers over the Spanish ski resort of Candanchú. It is 2,645 meters high


Aspe peak (also known as Pico de la Garganta de Aísa) is a prominent mountain in the western Pyrenees of Huesca, near the towns of Villanúa (to the south) and Canfranc (to the east). The peak towers over the Spanish ski resort of Candanchú, near the Somport pass on the border with France. It is 2,645 meters (8,678 ft) high. Aspe Peak, El Sombrero Peak and Lecherín Peak (on the left), Collado de Aspe and Lena de la Garganta (on the right). The Aspe peak gives its name to the French river Gave d'Aspe and the Aspe Valley.
