Andromeda Galaxy above a chimney of mine in Sao Domingos, in Achada do Gamo, Mertola, Alqueva Dark Sky Reserve, Portugal. Andromeda is the nearest galaxy to our own galaxy and is located million light years away in the constellation of the same name. Andromeda measures 220,000 light years across.
