Herdwick Ewe and new born lamb

A Herdwick Ewe and its newly born lamb at Kentmere in Cumbria. Both Ewe and lamb clearly showing the Lug Marks on their ears. This along with the blue smit marking is the way shepherds recognise their own sheep.
