Testicular cancer, light micrograph of a section from a testicular lymphoma. This cancer comprise 5% of all testicular tumors. May occur either as a primary or secondary (more common) spread to testis. Most common testicular tumor in older men. Prognosis is generally poor with a 5-year survival rate of 37-48%. Histology shows sheets of malignant lymphoid cells (red), which infiltrate in between normal seminiferous tubules. Magnification: x 100 when printed at 10 centimetres wide. Human tissue.
