Archival reportage image of the Big Wheel on Plymouth Hoe April 2011. It ceased operating late 2013. There is a strong likely hood of a similar Wheel for 2024 and beyond. The Wheel shown was 60 metres tall with 42 capsules, but the proposed Observation Wheel is 38 meters tall with 24 gondolas.
