Meat burgers made with Mealworms / Tenebrio molitor. Insects are eaten as food in many parts of the world, and don't have to be scary. See Notes


RAW, uncooked edible insects. Short-tailed crickets on plate to left. Main subjects though are made with crushed dried mealworms mixed with soy protein - about 6 parts soy and 4 parts insects. There's a little white flour in there to help bind things together. Need to be shallow fried in a very little oil. Burnt bugs taste absolutely awful so they need to be cooked gently.
