Norwich supporter and traffic Marshall taking part in Jonjo Heuerman's route 66 the final leg of The Big Football Tag

THE BIG FOOTBALL TAG To commemorate 20 years since Bobby Moore’s premature death from bowel cancer and raise awareness of the disease (and in the process hopefully raise at least £100,000 for the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK), the nationwide ‘Big Football Tag’ This bold and ambitious project will see a signed captain’s armband collected from every league ground in England & Wales in a giant game of ‘tag’, culminating in a walk from Wembley to West Ham's Upton Park ground for a commemorative service at the Bobby Moore statue. The armbands will subsequently be auctioned off for the charity. The Big Football Tag is the latest high-profile event organised by prolific campaigner and fundraiser, 11 year old West Ham fan Jonjo Heuerman. Jonjo will take all of the armbands to Wembley to collect the England captain's armband and bring all of them back to Upton Park. My part of the walk is called ROUTE 66 because I will be walking 66 miles (representing 1966) in 6 days (representing Bobby's shirt number).
