. Eastern states endangered plants . Furbish's Lousewort Pedicularis forbishiae Description: Tall, 40 to 90 mm. high. Leaves are pinnately parted and the short oblong divisions pinnafid-incised. Calyx 5 lobed, upper lip of corolla straight. Flowers in July and August. Range: Northern Maine and New Brunswick; along the banks of St. John's River. Habitat: Woods, clearings, and riverbanks.
