The Peruvian engineers and the Navy Seabees, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB 23), embarked aboard High Speed Vessel (HSV-2) Swift are working together out of Base Naval De Callao and Brigada Infanteria De Marina De Ancon, as a part of HSV-Southern Partnership Station 2012 (HSV-SPS 12). The Seabees and engineers will spend three weeks refurbishing schools in the area. HSV-SPS is an annual deployment of Navy ships and assets to the Southern Command’s area of responsibility in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
