The Thwaites brewery dates back to 1807 in Blackburn, Lancashire. Eanam Brewery was managed by Daniel Thwaites, who is a partner along with Clayton and Duckworth, with one-third of shares. The name Thwaites brewery name comes from Daniel Thwaites II who took over the brewery in 1858.
