Happy, Danish students celebrate their high school, grammar school graduation / A-levels and take a plunge into the cold water of the Stork Fountain (Storkespringvandet) on the pedestrian street, Stroeget to the vast amusement of the surrounding tourists and visitors. This is a traditional element on the day of celebration for graduated students in Greater Copenhagen. It is often part of the long, exhausting and high-spirited truck tour visiting each student’s home for refreshments.
