Marines with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), operate Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTV) during a vehicle swap at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, April 14, 2022. The MEU replaced its High Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV) with JLTVs to improve tactical vehicle capabilities for future deployments. The JLTVs offer better communication abilities, mobility and protection than the HMMWVs.
