Pelissier (founder of the Pelissier Follies) playing the Piano. - Harry Gabriel Pélissier (commonly known to his friends and colleagues as '' , 1874-1913) was an English composer, theatrical producer and satirist. He presented a number of theatrical productions during the Edwardian era, including some using his own troupe of entertainers. Originally performing at seaside resorts and pier shows, Pélissier and his 'Follies' performed in front of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra at a 'Royal Command Performance' , at Sandringham in celebration of the Queens birthday (December 1904).
